How a cycle runs
From the first contribution to the first payout.
Create the group
Set the contribution amount, the day it falls due and the payout model — rotational, equal split or investment. Then send your members a link.
Members pay the group
Each contribution is an EFT into the group’s own bank account, the way it already works. The member uploads their proof of payment with the reference.
The admin approves it
The chairperson or treasurer checks the slip against the bank statement and approves it, or sends it back. The member’s line turns to Paid.
Payout in turn
When a member’s turn comes, the admin pays them from the group account and records it. Everyone sees whose turn is next.

Does PulaPool hold or move our money?
No. Members pay by EFT into the bank account your group already uses. PulaPool records the proof of payment and the admin’s approval, so the book and the bank statement agree. There is no wallet, no float and nothing to withdraw.
What happens when a member pays late?
Their line shows as due, then overdue, where every member can see it. Reminders go out before the due date. If your group’s rules include a penalty, the admin records it against that member.
Who can see the record?
Every member of the group sees the same record: contributions, payouts, motions and the agreement. Only the admin can approve a payment or record a payout.
We already have a constitution. Do we have to change it?
No. Set your own contribution amount, due day and payout model, and upload your agreement for members to accept when they join. PulaPool keeps the record; the group keeps its rules.
Which countries and currencies does it work in?
Groups in 20 African countries, with the group account in rand, pula, Namibian dollar, kwacha, shilling and more. Members living abroad can join a group and see amounts in their own currency.
What does it cost?
Running one group is free, and joining any number of groups is always free. Premium, at R99 a month or R990 a year, is for members who administer more than one group and want full statements, the audit trail and payout documents.
